Dr. Heidi Torres is a dual board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She currently serves as an attending physician of Infectious Diseases, Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, and a hospital epidemiologist for the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. She has expertise in the creation and implementation of infection control policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and diagnosis and treatment of a wide breadth of infectious diseases. She has specific interests in infection prevention, infection control, epidemiology, and emerging diseases. She is a published author on topics ranging from environmental disinfection to emerging diseases such as COVID-19 and mpox. She completed her fellowship training in Infectious Diseases with Weill Cornell Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency with University of Texas at San Antonio.

Mr. Jose Torres holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and is currently a Real Estate Investments professional. Mr. Torres has been responsible for underwriting equity investments in Senior Housing, Class A Multifamily, Office, and Mixed-Use developments and acquisitions. He has been directly involved in over $5 Billion of real estate transactions. Prior to his career in real estate, he obtained his Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served 8 years in the United States Army as a logistics officer, attaining the rank of Captain. His background in strategic planning, operational efficiency, and complex logistical operations serve to further effective infection control management.
